It’s free to post a role
While we build the board out, listing on role.ie costs nothing. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel.
Why there is no price list
role.ie is new. The board is small, and an early listing reaches a smaller audience than it will in a year — so charging for it now would be charging for reach we have not built yet. Posting is free until that changes.
When there are paid plans, they will be published on this page before anyone is asked to pay, with at least 30 days’ notice to anyone already listing. Nothing on role.ie will start charging a card you have not been shown a price for.
What a listing gets you
- Your listing on the board with its salary range, the unit it is quoted in, and your company named
- Applications delivered straight to you — no agency between you and the candidate
- Your listing marked as coming from the employer, not an agency
- Structured data on the listing so search engines can index it as a job posting
- Take the listing down whenever you want
What we don’t have yet
So you know before you commit a vacancy to it.
- An employer login and dashboard — job posts are set up with us by email for now
- Application tracking and candidate statuses inside role.ie
- Listing performance analytics
- A company profile page
- Paid placement, boosts or sponsored listings of any kind
The one thing we insist on
Every listing states its salary range. Not “competitive”, not “DOE” — an actual range, with the unit it is quoted in and whether it is a base or an on-target figure. A listing without one does not go up.
That is not a rule against employers, it is the reason the board is worth posting to. Everyone who applies has already seen the number and applied anyway, which is a shortlist that has screened itself on the one thing that most often ends a process at the final stage.
